An idea born out of the hope of Antartica, a place so isolated and beyond reach it feels invulnerable.
Yet an era of industrial whaling and sealing decimated the populations targeted. All but eliminating them.
We are short of stories of hope, which is why this one matters. Antarctica shows us the way, given time and
space the wild returns. Renewal. A hope, a wild one at that.

This film is a glimpse into that renewal — a journey through the wild hope found at the edge of the world.
The Exhibition
Wild Hope was created during a small-vessel sailing journey to Antarctica, filmed and photographed on deck, in the water and among the harsh weather of the Southern Ocean. The exhibition aims to share a simple idea: that even in the most remote and unforgiving places, the wild can recover if given the chance.
